Soil-Therm Equipment has received numerous awards and earned 4 patents for their innovative burner designs developed over more than 30 years of combustion research.


In the late 1980’s, a transfer to the Aeropropulsion Group at THE MARQUARDT COMPANY gave Mark the opportunity to work with world-renowned experts in high speed flight and advanced aerospace combustion. This group pioneered the aerospace industry with such Mach 4+ accomplishments as the design and development of ramjet engines for the SR-71 Blackbird engine, the Blackbird D-21 Drone, Advanced Strategic Air Launched Missile (ASALM, Mach 4+) and a Mach 8+ scramjet engine for the National Aerospace Plane project.


After 28+ years, SOIL-THERM continues to set new equipment standards for the remediation industry. We are proud of our small, powerful thermal systems and their origins. Through extensive research in the lab and field, SOIL-THERM continues to break new ground with ever more innovative burner technologies, still derived from Ramjet Engines.  Our latest is our NanoTHERM RS capable of phenomenal VOC processing rates in a very small burner combustor only 8″ diameter.  And our latest DownWell soil heating Jet-THERM burners have been specially designed to provide high combustion heat temperatures to 1600F and overcoming downstream back-pressures for up to 600-ft of sealed downwell piping.  All of our latest technologies demonstrate top performance and the fastest cleanup capabilities for the toughest sites anywhere.
